Hi, I’m Mikayla Wong
Marketing and Research Intern
I'm a third-year undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, where I'm majoring in Psychology with a minor in Disability Studies. I grew up in the Bay Area, where the diversity of my community first sparked my curiosity about healthcare and social change, and that curiosity has shaped everything I've pursued since.
My greatest interests lie in mental health advocacy and developmental research, with a particular focus on underserved populations. During my time at Berkeley I've contributed to the development of multiple mental health apps, helped build initiatives for online healthcare support systems, and conducted my own research on anxiety and ADHD. Each of these experiences has deepened my commitment to making mental health care more accessible and equitable.
I'm pursuing a career in medicine with the goal of working with neurodivergent children, promoting empathy and inclusion while reducing the social and behavioral stigma that so often gets in the way of the care and connection they deserve.
