SERVICES - INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Individual Therapy in New York City

A space that's entirely yours to say what's hard to say and start untangling what you've been carrying.

A space built entirely around you.

ABOUT INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

In-person in Manhattan or virtually across NY, NJ & TX.

Our individual therapy sessions in New York City are one-on-one, confidential, and built around what you actually need, not a generic treatment plan.

Our therapists come from different backgrounds, have different specialties, and bring different lived experiences to their work. That matters when it comes to finding someone who's actually the right fit for you and not just whoever has an available slot.

All Grounded therapists are licensed in New York and hold credentials including LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, MHC-LP, and LMFT. Many are in-network with Aetna and UMR Top Tier insurance.

What brings people to individual therapy.

IS THERAPY RIGHT FOR YOU?

You don't need to be in crisis to start.

Individual therapy tends to be a good fit if any of these land:

  • Something feels off and you can't quite name it

  • You've been holding something for a long time without space to process it

  • The same patterns keep showing up in your life or relationships

  • Anxiety, depression, or grief is affecting your day-to-day

  • You're going through a major transition and want support

  • You're ready to do some real work on yourself

WHY WORK WITH US

Accessibility & Support

We believe therapy should feel accessible, supportive, and easy to navigate from the very first step.

  • Virtual & In-Person Options
Meet in a way that works for you, whether that’s online or face-to-face.

  • Accessible Space
Our office is wheelchair accessible to ensure everyone can feel comfortable and supported.

  • Flexible Payment Options
We offer a sliding scale and work with a range of insurance plans. We also help with out-of-network reimbursement, so you don’t have to figure it out alone.

  • Coordinated Care
When helpful, we collaborate with your broader care team, including psychiatrists, doctors, schools, and other providers to support your overall well-being.

Our goal is to remove as many barriers as possible, so you can focus on getting the care you need.
