Hi, I’m Alice Roberts!

Therapist

I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker with a degree from New York University, and I've been doing this work since 2007. I work with individuals, couples, and families who are looking for stronger, more fulfilling relationships. My approach is rooted in attachment-based theories, and I bring a warm, grounded presence to every session so that clients feel safe enough to explore their inner worlds and relational patterns.

My training spans a range of modalities, with particular emphasis on Sex Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Somatic Experiencing. I also draw from Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Family Constellations, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I'm certified by the Ackerman Institute for the Family. I bring all of this together to tailor treatment to the unique needs of each person I work with.

I approach each client with openness, empathy, curiosity, and compassion. I see therapy as a collaborative process, where we take the time to understand your unique story, your strengths, and what feels stuck. From there, we work together toward a more meaningful, connected life at a pace that feels right for you.

In sessions, you can expect a safe, thoughtful, and individualized experience. I draw on a range of evidence-based tools and curate each session to what you need in that moment. I listen closely and hold onto the details of what you share, which allows me to connect patterns over time and support you in making sense of your experiences.

What I want most is for clients to feel safe, supported, and empowered. No matter how difficult your past or present may feel, I want you to experience a sense of movement, resilience, and the real possibility of creating the life and relationships you are looking for.
